How to use

Mount the AP1231 indoors on a ceiling or wall according to site planning and local mounting instructions. Connect one of the RJ-45 Ethernet ports to a PoE-capable switch or injector to power the device and provide network connectivity. Configure SSIDs, security settings and network admission via your OmniAccess management platform or supported controller. Use built-in analytics to monitor performance and adjust RF settings as needed to optimize coverage and capacity.

Recommendations

For best results in high-density environments, place access points to minimize co-channel interference, enable RF Radio Dynamic Adjustment, and ensure PoE switches provide sufficient power budget (allow for the device maximum of 27.6 W). Regularly review analytics to rebalance capacity and update firmware to maintain security and performance.
