Access point wireless Telekom 40823475 4800 Mbit/s IEEE 802.11ax

The Telekom 40823475 wireless access point delivers up to 4800 Mbit/s using the IEEE 802.11ax standard with a 160 MHz channel bandwidth. This compact, black tabletop unit with internal antennas is intended for indoor high-throughput Wi‑Fi deployments where secure, fast connectivity is required. It includes two Ethernet LAN (RJ‑45) ports for wired uplink or device connections and fits easily into small office or home environments thanks to its 157 mm x 69 mm x 157 mm dimensions and 0.29 kg weight.

Advantages

The access point supports the latest Wi‑Fi standard, enabling higher throughput, improved multi-user performance and better spectral efficiency. WPA2 and WPA3 security protocols are supported to provide modern authentication and encryption options. A 160 MHz channel bandwidth allows wider radio channels for maximum aggregated data rates, while the tabletop design and internal antennas simplify installation and keep a low visual profile.

Suitable for

• Small offices and meeting rooms requiring high-speed wireless access
• Homes with multiple high-bandwidth users or streaming devices
• Points that need a compact tabletop AP with wired uplink
• Environments where modern Wi‑Fi security (WPA2/WPA3) is required

Key specifications

• Maximum data transfer rate: 4800 Mbit/s
• Wireless standard: IEEE 802.11ax (Wi‑Fi 6)
• Channel bandwidth: 160 MHz
• Ethernet LAN (RJ‑45) ports: 2
• Product colour: Black
• Dimensions (W × H × D): 157 mm × 69 mm × 157 mm
• Weight: 0.29 kg
• Antenna type: Internal

How to use

Place the access point on a flat, elevated tabletop surface in a central location relative to the coverage area. Connect one of the RJ‑45 ports to your network uplink or router using an Ethernet cable; the second port can be used for an additional wired device or a switch. Power the unit according to the supplied adapter or PoE option as applicable, then follow the on‑screen or web‑based setup process to configure SSID, security (select WPA2 or WPA3), and other network settings. Positioning and channel selection should be adjusted to minimise interference and to maximise coverage.

Recommendations

For best performance, use the 160 MHz channel only where regulatory and co‑channel conditions permit; otherwise select narrower channels to avoid interference. Keep firmware up to date and enable WPA3 where all client devices support it, falling back to WPA2 for mixed-client environments. Place the unit away from large metal objects and other RF sources to maintain stable throughput.
