ACT 40 metri DisplayPort cavo ottico attivo connettore DisplayPort - connettore DisplayPort

The ACT DisplayPort Active Optical Cable (AOC) combines copper and multimode glass fiber to transmit DisplayPort signals reliably over long distances up to 100 m. This 40 m cable features DisplayPort male connectors on both ends, is flexible, supplied on a spool for easy handling, and is compatible with DP 1.2a devices.

Advantages

The cable preserves data integrity over long runs by carrying main video data through optical fiber while aux and hot-plug channels use copper conductors. It supports 4K@60Hz 4:4:4, HDCP 1.1 and HDCP 1.3, and provides HBR operation up to 5.4 Gbps per lane with a total bandwidth of 21.6 Gbps. The plug-and-play design requires no drivers and simplifies installation for extended DisplayPort connections.

Suitable for

• Connecting monitors to PCs or workstations at long distances (up to 40 m and beyond)
• Linking projectors, digital signage or AV equipment in conference rooms and auditoriums
• Professional video setups and gaming stations requiring 4K@60Hz over extended runs

Key specifications

• Length: 40 m (product model AK4034; supports up to 100 m AOC technology)
• Connectors: DisplayPort male — DisplayPort male
• Compatibility: DisplayPort 1.2a
• Resolution/refresh: up to 4K@60Hz 4:4:4
• HDCP: 1.1 and 1.3
• Data rate: HBR up to 5.4 Gbps per lane; total bandwidth 21.6 Gbps
• Cable construction: multimode optical fiber with copper conductors for aux/hot-plug
• Colour: Black

How to use

Unwind the spool and route the cable to avoid sharp bends; maintain the minimum bend radius recommended for AOC multimode fiber. Insert the DisplayPort male connectors firmly into the source and display ports until they click. The cable is plug-and-play and does not require additional drivers or power for standard DisplayPort operation. If extending beyond typical runs, verify device compatibility with DP 1.2a and HDCP version requirements.

Recommendations

For optimal long-distance performance, avoid tight bends, excessive pulling force and exposure to liquids or extreme temperatures; secure the cable along its route and check connector seating to prevent intermittent signal loss.
