ACT 70 metri multimodale 50/125 OM3 cavo interno/esterno 4 vie con connettori LC

What are pre-terminated fiber optic cables?
ACT pre-terminated cables are ready-to-use fiber optic installation cables with attached connectors. Pre-terminated fiber optic cables are used to connect different rooms, floors or buildings.
The advantage of using pre-terminated cables is that no investment is needed in tools or test equipment, since the connectors are pre-set and each pre-terminated cable is individually tested after production and provided with a test report.

What are pre-terminated cables used for?
With ACT pre-terminated cables you can easily install a fiber optic cable without the use of tools. Ideal for the system integrator, installer or network administrator who wants to build a high quality and reliable network.

What makes ACT pre-terminated cables so universal?
ACT pre-terminated cables can be used both indoors and outdoors and are suitable for horizontal and vertical use. This means that ACT pre-terminated cables are suitable for several applications:
- Connecting two buildings on a site.
- Installing a cable between different floors.
- Connecting different rooms in a building.
ACT pre-terminated cables comply with the Dca Euroclass of the European Construction Products Regulation (CPR).

Why choose ACT pre-terminated fiber optic cables?
ACT pre-terminated cables are high quality cables. If you choose ACT pre-terminated cables you never have to worry about the quality of your cabling.
ACT pre-terminated cables have excellent optical features. With an average attenuation of 0,1dB and a maximum attenuation of 0,15dB they belong to the top of the market. This means extra leeway in optical budgets and this makes the cables future-proof.

The high-quality construction of ACT pre-terminated cables ensures maximum protection and ease of use. During installation, the vulnerable connectors and fanout cables are optimally protected by a transparent tube on both sides. Due to the robust construction and drawbar eye, the whole can handle up to 350N pulling force. In addition, the protective hose is only 18mm in diameter, making the cable easy to install and it fits through tubes.

Correct installation and correct use of the ACT pre-terminated cables is of great importance. Information about installation and use can easily be found by scanning the QR code on the cable.

ACT 70 meter Multimode 50/125 OM3 indoor/outdoor cable 4 way with LC connectors. Cable length: 70 m, Fibre optic type: OM3, Connector 1: 4x LC, Connector 2: 4x LC, Core diameter: 50 µm

How to use

Install the pre-terminated ACT cable by routing it through the conduit or cable tray to the desired endpoints. Remove only the outer protection as needed to access the pre-attached LC connectors; the connectors and fanout are already protected by transparent tubing. Connect the LC connectors to compatible LC ports on network equipment or patch panels. Verify the link using the supplied test report and, if required by your procedure, perform in-situ verification with your site test equipment.

Recommendations

Handle the pre-terminated ends with care: keep dust caps on until connection, avoid excessive bending near the connectors, and do not exceed the 350 N pulling force. Scan the QR code on the cable for detailed installation instructions and the individual test report.
