Cavo patch in fibra ottica multimodale OM3 LC/LC 15m Digitus

FO patch cord, duplex LC to LC, multimode OM3 50/125 µm, length 15 m. The Digitus Fiber Optic Patch Cord Multimode OM3 LC/LC is designed for high-bandwidth network connections and data centre cabling, providing reliable multimode transmission with LC connectors on both ends and a 50 µm core diameter.

Advantages

The cable uses OM3 multimode fiber to support high-speed data transmission with reduced attenuation over short to medium distances. Duplex LC to LC connectors ensure simple and compact connections in patch panels and network equipment. A 15 m length offers flexibility for rack-to-rack or rack-to-switch connections while maintaining signal integrity.

Suitable for

• Data centre horizontal and rack cabling
• High-bandwidth LAN links
• Patch panels and active network equipment connections
• Short to medium distance multimode links

How to use

Connect each LC connector to the corresponding LC port on patch panels or network devices, observing correct polarity for transmit/receive alignment. Route the patch cord along cable managers or trays to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress. Ensure connectors are clean before insertion to prevent signal degradation.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use with OM3-compliant transceivers and keep bend radius above the manufacturer’s minimum; inspect and clean LC endfaces regularly to maintain low insertion loss.
