The ACT Adapter Cable DisplayPort Male to DVI Male 1.8m connects a DisplayPort video source to a DVI-D display. It transmits video signals between DisplayPort and DVI-D devices and is suitable for home and office setups.

Advantages

This ACT adapter cable provides a direct wired connection between DisplayPort outputs and DVI-D inputs without requiring a separate converter box. At 1.8 m length it offers reach for typical desk and meeting-room arrangements. The cable uses standard DisplayPort and DVI-D plugs to maintain reliable digital video transmission and comes in a black finish to match most equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting laptops or desktop PCs with DisplayPort output to DVI-D monitors
• Connecting computers to DVI-D projectors for presentations
• Replacing or extending an existing short DisplayPort-to-DVI link

Power on the devices and select the correct input on the display if necessary. Adjust display settings on the computer to match the monitor's native resolution for optimal video quality.

Recommendations

Use the cable in environments with minimal sharp bends or mechanical stress. For long-term installations, secure connectors to prevent accidental disconnection and avoid using adapters or splitters that the cable is not designed for. Note that DisplayPort-to-DVI cables carry video signals; audio is not supported over DVI-D.
