ACT cavo patch in fibra ottica duplex LSZH multimodale 50/125 OM3 con connettori SC da 3 metri

The ACT 3 meter LSZH Multimode 50/125 OM3 Duplex SC fiber patch cable provides reliable duplex connectivity for high-speed networking environments. Constructed with OM3 multimode fiber and SC duplex connectors, this 3 m cable supports short- to medium-range data transmission with improved bandwidth over standard multimode types. The LSZH jacket reduces smoke and halogen emissions, making the cable suitable for installations in enclosed or public spaces where fire safety and air quality are considerations.

Advantages

This cable combines OM3 multimode performance with SC duplex terminations to deliver stable full-duplex links for switches, patch panels and active equipment. The LSZH outer jacket enhances safety by limiting toxic and corrosive gases in case of fire, while the 50/125 µm core/cladding geometry maintains compatibility with common multimode transceivers. The 3 meter length offers installation flexibility without excessive slack, and the standardized connectors simplify deployment and troubleshooting.

Suitable for

• Data centre horizontal and rack-to-rack connections
• Local area network (LAN) backbone and aggregation links
• Patch panels and optical distribution frames
• Connection between switches, servers and storage systems

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode OM3
• Core/cladding diameter: 50/125 µm
• Connector type: Duplex SC on both ends
• Length: 3 meters
• Jacket material: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Mode: Duplex full-duplex operation

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces for dust or damage before installation and clean with appropriate fiber cleaning tools if necessary. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and tensile stress; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius to preserve optical performance. Insert the SC duplex connectors into matching SC adapter ports until they click into place, ensuring correct polarity for transmit and receive paths. For patching in cabinets or panels, secure excess length with cable management to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Use this OM3 multimode LSZH patch cable for short- to medium-range links where safety and reduced smoke emission are required. Pair with compatible multimode transceivers and ensure cleanliness of connectors for optimal signal integrity.
