Adattatore AS Schwabe 61475 da 13 poli a 7 poli adattatore elettrico per rimorchio

The Adapter AS Schwabe 61475 13-pin to 7-pin trailer electrical adapter converts a 13-pin vehicle socket to a 7-pin trailer plug, allowing electrical connection between towing vehicles and trailers with different connector types. It transmits lighting and indicator signals so lights, brake lamps and turn signals on the trailer function correctly when connected to a modern 13-pin socket. The compact, hand-friendly design is intended for quick coupling and uncoupling during occasional or regular towing tasks.

Advantages

This adapter provides straightforward compatibility between a 13-pin vehicle outlet and a 7-pin trailer connector without vehicle modification. It preserves the essential lighting and signaling circuits required for safe towing and helps avoid rewiring or replacing connectors on either vehicle or trailer. The device is lightweight and portable, enabling simple storage in a vehicle tool kit or glove compartment. Its rigid housing and integrated contacts are designed for reliable contact and straightforward handling in routine towing use.

How to use

Insert the adapter's 13-pin plug into the vehicle's 13-pin socket until it seats securely, then connect the 7-pin plug end to the trailer's 7-pin socket. Check that all lights on the trailer respond correctly: tail lights, brake lights and turn signals. If any lamp does not operate, inspect the contacts for corrosion or dirt and ensure both connectors are fully engaged. Remove the adapter by pulling it straight out from the vehicle socket when not in use.

Recommendations

Before each use, visually inspect the adapter contacts and connector housing for damage or contamination. Use dielectric grease on contacts if frequent exposure to moisture or salt is expected, and store the adapter in a dry place when not in use to prolong contact reliability.
