Adattatore di alimentazione AS Schwabe MIXO 60703 CEE da 32 A a 16 A, 5 poli, 400 V

The Power adapter AS Schwabe MIXO 60703 CEE 32 A to 16 A, 5‑pole, 400 V converts a three-phase CEE 32 A supply into a 16 A connection while preserving phase sequence and protective earth. It is designed for temporary or semi-permanent installations where equipment with a 16 A plug must be connected to a higher-rated 32 A CEE outlet. The adapter features a five-pole wiring arrangement for three phases, neutral and earth at 400 V and is suitable for use in industrial environments, construction sites, events and workshops where differing plug and socket ratings require a safe and compatible interface.

Advantages

The adapter provides a secure mechanical and electrical connection between a CEE 32 A supply and 16 A devices without altering the phase order. Its five-pole design ensures the protective earth and neutral conductors remain correctly assigned, reducing the risk of improper wiring. The robust construction is intended to withstand the conditions typical of industrial and outdoor temporary use. By allowing lower-rated equipment to be connected to a 32 A outlet, the adapter increases flexibility on sites where multiple types of equipment must share available power sources.

How to use

Before connecting, verify that the supply is de-energized and that the adapter’s physical condition is intact. Insert the CEE 32 A plug into the supply outlet until it engages securely and then connect the 16 A device plug to the adapter’s socket. Ensure that the protective earth connection is present and continuity is maintained. After completing connections, re-energize the supply and confirm correct operation of the connected equipment. When disconnecting, de-energize the supply before unplugging to avoid arcing and wear on contacts.

Recommendations

Use the adapter only for temporary or semi-permanent applications where the current draw of connected equipment does not exceed the lower-rated side (16 A). Avoid continuous use of high-load devices that approach or exceed the adapter’s lower current rating. Inspect the adapter regularly for mechanical damage, signs of overheating or corrosion, and ensure connections are tight. Do not modify the adapter or use it in wet or hazardous locations without appropriate additional protection and certification for those environments.
