Adattatore host bus HP H222 - Controller storage - 8 porte SATA 6Gb/s / SAS 6Gb/s Low-Profile PCIe 3.0 x8

The HP H222 Host Bus Adapter is a high-performance storage controller designed for HP ProLiant Gen8 servers. It provides eight internal ports via two Mini-SAS SFF-8087 connectors, supporting both SAS and SATA drives at 6Gb/s per port. This low-profile PCIe 3.0 x8 card operates in HBA mode (JBOD/IT) and is ideal for direct-attached storage configurations requiring maximum flexibility and reliability.

Advantages

Cost-effective solution for expanding storage capacity without RAID overhead. Supports up to 8 drives with 6Gb/s throughput per port. Low-profile form factor fits in space-constrained server chassis. Backward compatible with PCIe 2.0 slots.

Suitable for

• HP ProLiant DL380p Gen8, ML350p Gen8, and other Gen8 servers
• Direct-attached storage (DAS) environments
• JBOD configurations for software-defined storage
• Video surveillance, backup, and archival systems
