Adattatore in fibra ottica SC ShiverPeaks 07-60053 viola multimodale

The ShiverPeaks Fibre optic adapter SC 07-60053 in violet is a multi-mode SC coupling designed to join SC-terminated multi-mode fiber cables. It provides a compact interface for aligning two SC connectors with precise ferrule contact and stable mechanical housing. The adapter is intended for use in networking panels, patch panels, wall plates and fiber distribution frames where multi-mode links require dependable optical alignment and color-coded identification.

Advantages

This SC multi-mode adapter offers consistent insertion alignment for SC connectors, reducing optical loss at the joint. The violet color enables quick visual identification of the cable type or link purpose in mixed cabling environments. The robust housing secures mating connectors to minimize movement and signal fluctuation, and the standardized SC form factor ensures wide compatibility with SC-terminated multi-mode patch cords and equipment.

Suitable for

• Multi-mode fiber patch panels and rack-mounted distribution frames
• Wall plates and outlet boxes for multi-mode network terminations
• Short-range data center and LAN links using multi-mode fiber
• Color-coded fiber infrastructure for easier maintenance and tracing

Key specifications

• Connector type: SC duplex form factor for multi-mode fiber
• Fiber type: Multi-mode
• Color: Violet for visual identification
• Mounting style: Snap-in/adapter housing suitable for standard panels and plates
• Mechanical alignment: Precision sleeve for ferrule alignment

How to use

Install the adapter into the appropriate panel cutout or wall plate aperture, ensuring it snaps or secures into the housing according to the panel design. Insert SC-terminated multi-mode patch cords into each side of the adapter until they click into place, verifying that connectors are fully seated to achieve proper optical contact. When disconnecting, depress the connector latch and withdraw the patch cord straight out to avoid disturbing adjacent connections. Use dust caps on unused ports to protect ferrules from contamination when the adapter is not in use.

Recommendations

For reliable optical performance, clean connector endfaces before mating and use compatible multi-mode patch cords. Maintain color-coded cabling documentation to match the violet adapter with its intended link type, and avoid excessive bending or strain on cables near the adapter.
