How to use

Mount the adapter onto the camera’s Sony NEX (E) mount by aligning the adapter’s mount marks with the camera bayonet and turning until it locks. Attach the Canon FD lens to the adapter by aligning the lens’s mount marks and rotating until it secures. Operate the lens using manual focus and the lens’s aperture ring; the adapter does not transmit electronic signals between lens and camera. Check focus and exposure using the camera’s focus assist tools and live view as needed.

Recommendations

Use the adapter on a stable surface or with a support (tripod) when using heavier lenses. Confirm lens mount alignment before each use and avoid forcing mounts. Since there is no electronic communication, set aperture and focus manually and verify compatibility with your specific lens to ensure proper operation.
