Adattatore ShiverPeaks 08-01045-2 Cat 6A — adattatore per connessione di rete

The ShiverPeaks Adapter 08-01045-2 Cat 6A is a compact network connection adapter designed to maintain Cat 6A performance in short inline or patching applications. It accepts shielded RJ45 terminations and preserves shielding continuity for STP installations, enabling reliable high-speed Ethernet links in structured cabling, patch panels or small extension points. The adapter is intended for installations where space is limited but Cat 6A signal integrity and bandwidth up to 10 Gigabit Ethernet are required.

Advantages

This adapter provides a small-form-factor solution for joining or extending shielded Ethernet cabling while maintaining Category 6A performance characteristics. Its construction supports shielding continuity to reduce electromagnetic interference, and the design is suitable for tight installation spaces. The product is delivered in a multi-unit pack for quick deployment of multiple inline connections without the need for additional tools or complex termination.

Suitable for

• Inline repairs or short extensions of shielded Cat 6A network cables
• Connecting modules within patch panels and racks where space is limited
• Small-scale deployments requiring maintained shielding and 10 Gigabit-capable links
• Temporary or permanent joins in structured cabling installations

Key specifications

• Category performance: Cat 6A compliant signal path supporting up to 10 Gbps
• Connector type: Dual RJ45 female ports for shielded (STP) terminations
• Form factor: Compact, small inline adapter suitable for confined spaces
• Shielding: Designed to preserve cable shield continuity for reduced EMI
• Pack quantity: Multi-unit packaging for multiple connections

How to use

Insert terminated shielded RJ45 plugs from each cable end into the adapter’s female RJ45 ports until fully seated; ensure the cable shield makes contact with the adapter body to preserve continuity. Use the adapter for short inline joins, patch panel extensions or to link pre-terminated leads where a direct plug-to-plug connection is required. Verify physical seating and test the link with a cable tester or network diagnostics tool to confirm Cat 6A performance and correct wiring.

Recommendations

For best results, use the adapter only within short runs and where maintaining shielding continuity is necessary. Avoid placing the adapter in environments with high mechanical strain or exposure to moisture; secure cables to relieve tension at the connection point and run a full electrical and signal test after installation to ensure the connection meets Cat 6A transmission criteria.
