Adattatore ShiverPeaks 71222 — connettività massima 8/8 con presa Western

Adapter ShiverPeaks 71222 — maximum connectivity 8/8 with Western coupling is a modular connectivity adapter designed to provide up to eight connections per side using a Western-style coupling. It facilitates reliable mechanical and electrical joining between compatible devices, cables or modular blocks where a Western coupling interface is required. The adapter is suitable for installations that need compact, repeatable joins and straightforward mating of signal or power lines in controlled environments.

Advantages

The adapter offers a compact form factor with a fixed Western coupling for consistent alignment and ease of mating. It supports up to eight individual connections per side, enabling multiple signal or conductor paths through a single connector body. The metallized connector surfaces improve contact reliability and wear resistance. Its modular design allows straightforward integration into existing cabling runs or equipment panels without complex modifications.

Suitable for

• Interfacing equipment that uses Western-style couplings
• Signal routing and distribution in modular systems
• Patch panels and modular expansions requiring multiple conductors
• Field installations where a compact multi-connection adapter is needed

Key specifications

• Maximum connectivity: 8 connections per side (8/8)
• Coupling type: Western-style coupling
• Contact finish: metallized contacts for improved conductivity and durability
• Form factor: modular adapter suitable for inline or panel mounting
• Applications: mechanical and electrical joins for signal or low-voltage power lines

How to use

Align the Western coupling halves and engage the connector until the coupling locks or seats firmly, ensuring proper alignment of each of the eight contacts. Verify that metallized contacts make full contact and that there is no visible damage or debris on mating surfaces. For installation in panels or inline assemblies, secure the adapter according to the mounting provisions of the system and route cables to avoid excessive bending or strain on the connector. Inspect connections after initial commissioning to confirm continuity and mechanical stability.

Recommendations

Use the adapter in dry, clean environments and avoid exposure to corrosive agents. When working with signal or low-voltage power lines, ensure correct wiring order and check polarity to prevent miswiring. Periodically inspect contact surfaces and replace the adapter if wear or corrosion compromises connectivity.
