Adattatore ShiverPeaks 98869 video/audio N UHF adattatore connettore femmina per connessioni UHF

ShiverPeaks 98869 Video/Audio-N UHF Coupling is an adapter designed to connect or extend UHF coaxial lines in audio-video installations. It provides a UHF coupling interface that joins cables or adapts connectors between devices such as cameras, monitors, transmitters and receivers where a UHF (BNC-style) coaxial coupling is required. The adapter is intended for systems that use UHF-terminated video or audio coax connections and facilitates straightforward integration without modifying existing cabling.

Advantages

The adapter offers a compact and neutral connection solution for UHF coaxial lines in AV setups, enabling reliable mechanical coupling between UHF-terminated cables and devices. Its design focuses on compatibility with standard UHF connections used in video and audio transmission chains, simplifying the process of joining or adapting cables. The coupling avoids the need for soldering or cable replacement when integrating equipment with UHF terminations.

Suitable for

• Connecting CCTV cameras and UHF-equipped monitors
• Joining UHF-terminated coaxial cables to extend runs
• Interfacing transmitters and receivers with UHF coax connections
• Temporary or permanent AV installations requiring UHF coupling

Key specifications

• Connector type: UHF coupling for UHF (BNC-style) coaxial connections
• Application: Video and audio coaxial coupling in AV systems
• Compatibility: Designed for devices and cables with UHF terminations
• Form factor: Inline coupling adapter for quick connection

How to use

Plug the UHF-terminated cable or device connector into each side of the adapter until a secure mechanical fit is achieved. Ensure connectors are aligned and fully seated to maintain signal continuity. Use the adapter to join two UHF-terminated cables, adapt a cable to a device with a matching UHF port, or to create an inline connection within an AV signal path. After installation, verify video and audio signal integrity and re-seat connectors if necessary.

Recommendations

Use the adapter in dry, protected environments or within appropriate enclosures to prevent moisture ingress. Avoid excessive bending or mechanical strain on connected coaxial cables and ensure connectors are clean and undamaged before connection. For mission-critical or outdoor installations consider additional environmental protection or weatherproof housings.
