Ajax MotionProtect sensore PIR a infrarossi passivo wireless a parete bianco

The Ajax MotionProtect is a wireless passive infrared (PIR) motion detector designed for wall mounting to monitor entrances and other likely points of intrusion in homes or offices. It notifies the owner at the first signs of unauthorised presence and integrates with Ajax security systems. The detector comes with a preinstalled battery and is ready to use immediately.

Advantages

MotionProtect operates up to 7 years without battery replacement and uses digital processing to reduce false alarms. It is calibrated to ignore pets up to 20 kg in weight and 50 cm in height and maintains accurate detection performance in high temperatures, up to +40°C. The device automatically adjusts its sensitivity to ensure reliable detection in both hot and cold conditions.

Suitable for

• Monitoring entry doors and corridors in apartments and houses
• Securing offices and small commercial premises
• Use in rooms where pets (up to 20 kg, 50 cm height) are present
• Integration into Ajax wired or wireless alarm systems

How to use

Mount the MotionProtect on a wall facing the area to be monitored, typically in front of doors or entry routes, using the SmartBracket mounting plate. The detector is supplied with a preinstalled battery; power it on and add the device to the Ajax hub using the mobile application with a single click. After pairing, verify the detection zone and adjust the bracket position if necessary to avoid blind spots.

Recommendations

Install the detector at a height recommended by the manufacturer, avoid pointing it at heat sources or air vents, and place it so that pets under 20 kg and 50 cm cannot cross directly in front of the sensor’s field of view to minimise false alarms. Test the detector after installation via the Ajax app and perform periodic checks to ensure correct operation.
