Albero flessibile Makita B-29072 — diametro 6 mm, lunghezza 1500 mm

Flexible shaft Makita B-29072 — 6 mm Diameter, 1500 mm Length is a precision transmission element designed to transfer rotary motion from a drive unit to a remote tool or accessory. The shaft's 6 mm core offers compatibility with a variety of small rotary attachments while the 1500 mm length provides extended reach for tasks in confined or hard-to-access locations. It is intended for use where a direct rigid coupling is impractical and where flexibility and maneuverability are required for cutting, grinding, polishing or light drilling operations.

Advantages

The flexible shaft provides smooth transmission of rotational force with minimal vibration and allows the drive unit to remain stationary while the tool end is positioned independently. Its slender 6 mm construction reduces bulk at the working end and improves access to narrow spaces. The extended 1500 mm length increases operational reach without compromising control. The design supports precision work by enabling finer hand positioning of accessories and reducing the need to reposition the drive unit during repetitive or detailed tasks.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Accessing tight or recessed work areas where a rigid tool cannot reach
• Detail grinding, cutting, deburring and polishing with small rotary accessories
• Workshop jobs where the drive motor remains stationary and the tool needs to be guided manually
• Maintenance, repair and assembly tasks requiring flexible transmission of rotary motion

Key specifications

• Outer diameter at flexible core: 6 mm
• Overall length: 1500 mm
• Flexible shaft type: rotary transmission cable for remote tools
• Intended connection: accepts small rotary accessories and attachments compatible with 6 mm drive
• Typical applications: cutting, grinding, polishing, light drilling and deburring in confined spaces

How to use

Attach the shaft securely to the compatible drive unit following the drive manufacturer's coupling instructions, then mount the required rotary accessory at the working end. Ensure connections are tightened and aligned to avoid excessive runout. Operate the drive at recommended speeds for the chosen accessory and maintain a firm but controlled grip on the flexible end to guide the tool into the work area. Regularly inspect the shaft for wear, kinks or damage and replace if any compromise in flexibility or integrity is observed.

Recommendations

Use accessories and drive speeds within the limits recommended by both the accessory and drive unit manufacturers. Avoid forcing the shaft through excessively sharp bends and do not exceed the rated torque of small rotary attachments. Store the flexible shaft coiled without tight kinks and perform routine inspections to ensure safe, precise operation.
