Alphacool Core serbatoio di espansione 120mm VPP Apex pompa — Alphacool 14561, serbatoio di espansione 120mm per integrazione pompe VPP Apex

The Alphacool Core 120mm reservoir is designed for integration with the VPP Apex pump and fits standard 120 mm fan mount locations. This compact reservoir serves as both a refill and expansion chamber in custom liquid cooling loops, enabling controlled coolant top-up, easier air bleeding and visual monitoring of fluid level. The reservoir’s 120 mm form factor makes it suitable for installation in cases with 120 mm fan mounts or pump bracket configurations compatible with VPP Apex pump assemblies.

Advantages

The reservoir provides a compact, space-efficient solution for adding a refill point and expansion volume to a VPP Apex pump-based cooling loop. It facilitates filling and bleeding operations, reducing installation time and simplifying maintenance. Visual coolant level monitoring helps detect low-fluid conditions without disassembly. The 120 mm mounting size ensures compatibility with common fan mount positions and dedicated pump-reservoir brackets.

Suitable for

• Custom PC liquid cooling loops using Alphacool VPP Apex pump
• Systems requiring a compact refill/expansion reservoir at a 120 mm fan mount
• Builds where visual coolant monitoring and easier air bleeding are desired
• Installations with limited space that still need a dedicated reservoir and pump integration

Key specifications

• Form factor: 120 mm (fits standard 120 mm fan mount locations)
• Function: refill and expansion chamber for liquid cooling loops
• Compatibility: designed for integration with VPP Apex pump
• Primary benefits: visual coolant level monitoring and simplified air bleeding
• Typical installation: mounted where a 120 mm fan or pump-reservoir combo is supported

How to use

Install the Alphacool Core 120mm reservoir into a suitable 120 mm fan mount or on a bracket designed for VPP Apex pump integration, following the case and pump manufacturer’s mounting instructions. Connect inlet and outlet hoses to the loop according to your cooling layout. Use the reservoir as the main fill point when assembling the loop; fill slowly while running the pump intermittently to remove air and observe the coolant level through the reservoir body. Perform final bleed cycles and check for leaks before full operation.

Recommendations

Use the reservoir with compatible fittings and tubing recommended by the pump and case manufacturers. When filling, keep the system on a stable, leak-free surface and operate the pump in short bursts to avoid dry-running. Regularly inspect coolant level and connections, and follow manufacturer guidance for coolant type and maintenance intervals.
