Alphacool Eiszapfen G1/4" tappo di chiusura nero profondo – tappo cieco in ottone con O-ring EPDM (17217)

When a premium water cooling loop demands a clean, leak-free finish, the Alphacool Eiszapfen G1/4" Stop Plug steps in where ordinary blanking plugs fall short. Machined from solid brass and finished in a deep matte black, this plug is not just a functional seal but a deliberate design choice for builders who obsess over every detail. Unlike generic plastic or chrome-plated alternatives, the Eiszapfen plug resists corrosion, maintains its appearance over years of thermal cycling, and offers a low-profile silhouette that sits flush with your components.

Highlights

• Precision G1/4" thread for universal compatibility with radiators, pumps, reservoirs, and water blocks
• Solid brass construction with a deep black, matte finish for a discreet, high-end aesthetic
• Integrated EPDM O-ring ensures a reliable, maintenance-free seal without the need for thread tape
• Knurled grip edge allows easy hand-tightening, even in tight spaces or with wet fingers
• Low-profile design minimizes protrusion, ideal for compact builds or crowded manifold areas
• Part of the acclaimed Alphacool Eiszapfen series, known for quality and longevity

In daily use

Installing the Eiszapfen Stop Plug takes seconds: simply thread it into any unused G1/4" port and tighten by hand until the O-ring compresses. The knurled surface provides a secure grip without tools, preventing over-tightening that could damage acrylic or acetal components. Once seated, the plug becomes virtually invisible, blending into the blacked-out aesthetic of modern liquid cooling systems. Whether you're sealing a spare port on a multi-inlet radiator, capping a drain valve, or temporarily closing a loop during maintenance, this plug delivers a dependable seal that withstands pressure and temperature fluctuations. Its brass body also acts as a subtle heat conductor, helping to dissipate minor thermal loads from nearby components.
