Anelli di montaggio per telescopio Sky-Watcher SW-4406 per tubo ottico 160 mm

Mounting Rings for Telescope Sky-Watcher SW-4406 for 160 mm Optical Tube are precision-designed rings that secure a 160 mm diameter optical tube to a mount or dovetail system. They provide firm support and alignment for the optical tube, enabling stable visual observing and astrophotography. Constructed to hold the tube in place during tracking, slewing and transport, these mounting rings are suited to regular use with Sky-Watcher-style optical tubes of the specified diameter.

Advantages

These mounting rings combine solid mechanical support with simple adjustment, allowing accurate balancing and retention of the optical tube. The clamps distribute pressure evenly to avoid damage to the tube while ensuring a vibration-resistant connection to the mount. Corrosion-resistant fasteners and a robust finish increase durability for field use and transport. The design facilitates quick attachment and detachment while maintaining repeatable alignment for accessories such as finderscopes and imaging equipment.

Suitable for

• Securing a 160 mm optical tube to an equatorial or alt-azimuth mount
• Balancing the telescope tube for visual observing or astrophotography
• Protecting the tube from rotation and movement during transport
• Mounting accessories that require stable tube alignment (finders, guidescopes)

Key specifications

• Compatible optical tube diameter: 160 mm
• Material: machined metal body with protective finish
• Fastening: adjustable clamp screws with anti-corrosion treatment
• Attachment interface: dovetail-compatible base for standard mount rails
• Support features: cushioned contact surfaces to prevent tube marring

How to use

Place the lower ring half beneath the optical tube and position the upper ring half over the tube so the cushioned contact surfaces align with the tube. Loosely fasten the clamp screws to hold the tube, slide the assembly along the dovetail rail to achieve the desired fore-aft balance, then tighten the clamp screws evenly until the tube is held securely without distortion. Verify alignment of any attached accessories and make fine balance adjustments on the mount before regular observing or imaging sessions.

Recommendations

Inspect and lightly tighten all fasteners before each use, avoid over-torquing clamp screws to prevent tube damage, and use the cushioned surfaces as intended. When transporting the telescope, secure the tube with both rings and double-check rail attachment to reduce movement. For imaging, re-check balance and alignment after adding cameras or heavy accessories.
