Antenna bridge wireless RUIJIE RG-ANT16S-120 antenna direzionale 16 dBi per collegamenti wireless esterni

The RUIJIE RG-ANT16S-120 is a 16 dBi directional antenna designed for outdoor wireless bridge and point-to-point links. It concentrates RF energy into a narrow beam to extend range and improve link stability between distant access points or wireless bridge devices. Intended for external installation, the antenna supports deployments where increased gain and focused coverage are required to enhance throughput and reduce interference on established links.

Advantages

This antenna provides a high gain of 16 dBi in a directional form factor that boosts signal strength along the intended transmission path. Its focused radiation pattern reduces off-axis interference and helps maintain a stable connection across longer distances compared with omnidirectional antennas. The outdoor-ready design allows placement on masts or poles to achieve line-of-sight alignment for point-to-point connections, improving overall link performance.

Suitable for

• Outdoor point-to-point wireless bridges
• Connecting distant access points or base stations
• Extending network links between buildings or across open areas
• Deployments requiring focused coverage and reduced interference

Key specifications

• Gain: 16 dBi directional
• Intended use: outdoor wireless bridge and point-to-point links
• Beam characteristic: focused/narrow beam for extended range
• Primary benefit: increased throughput and improved link stability

How to use

Mount the RG-ANT16S-120 on a suitable outdoor mast or pole with clear line of sight to the remote antenna. Physically align the antenna toward the counterpart device for optimal signal coupling, and secure all mounting hardware to withstand local weather conditions. Connect the antenna to the wireless bridge, access point, or radio using the appropriate cable and connectors; ensure cable runs and connectors are weatherproofed. After installation, perform alignment fine-tuning while monitoring link quality metrics such as RSSI and throughput, and make adjustments until the desired performance is achieved.

Recommendations

For best results use the antenna in clear line-of-sight conditions and mount it at a sufficient height to avoid obstacles. Verify connector compatibility and use low-loss outdoor-rated coaxial cable and proper surge protection where required. Periodically inspect mounting hardware and weather seals to maintain long-term performance.
