Antenna satellitare Televes S80EL-Z

The Televes S80EL-Z satellite antenna is a compact, high-gain dish designed for reception in the 10.7–12.75 GHz satellite band. Constructed from aluminium and finished in red, the antenna measures 730 mm in width and 795 mm in height. It delivers 38.5 dBi of gain and supports an elevation angle range from 0° to 90°, allowing precise alignment for a wide variety of geostationary satellites.

Advantages

The aluminium construction provides a balance of strength and reduced weight, while the 38.5 dBi gain improves signal quality and reception sensitivity for distant or weak transponders. The wide elevation angle adjustment (0–90°) enables flexible installation on different mast types and roof orientations. The compact footprint and durable finish simplify placement and long-term outdoor use.

Suitable for

• Residential satellite TV reception where medium-to-high gain is required
• Small commercial installations on rooftops or masts
• Locations needing a compact, weather-resistant antenna with precise elevation adjustment

Key specifications

• Operating frequency: 10.7 - 12.75 GHz
• Gain: 38.5 dBi
• Elevation angle range: 0°–90°
• Material: Aluminium
• Colour: Red
• Dimensions (W×H): 730 mm × 795 mm

How to use

Mount the Televes S80EL-Z securely on a suitable mast or wall bracket, ensuring the structure can support the antenna and withstand local wind loads. Connect the feedhorn/LNB and run coaxial cable to the receiver, observing standard practices for weatherproofing and grounding. Adjust azimuth and the elevation angle between 0° and 90° to align with the desired satellite, using a signal meter or receiver signal strength indicator to fine-tune position for optimal reception.

Recommendations

For best performance, choose a mounting location with an unobstructed view of the satellite arc and minimize nearby reflective surfaces. Use high-quality, low-loss coaxial cable and properly tighten all mechanical fittings. Regularly inspect the antenna and connections for corrosion or loosening, and re-check alignment after severe weather events.
