The ARCTIC P12 Pressure-optimised 120 mm fan is designed to deliver effective cooling where airflow meets resistance. It features redesigned fan blades and is optimised for high static pressure, making it suitable for use on heatsinks and in situations with increased air resistance. The fan operates at 12 V, has a maximum speed of 1800 RPM, provides an airflow of 95.65 m³/h, and uses a Fluid Dynamic Bearing (FDB) for quieter, longer-lasting operation. The compact 120 x 25 mm black housing and 0.139 kg weight make it suitable for most PC cooling setups.
The P12’s blade geometry and pressure-focused design improve airflow through dense radiators and heatsinks while maintaining a low noise profile of approximately 0.3 sone. The Fluid Dynamic Bearing increases durability and reduces operational noise over time. Its standard 120 mm size and 12 V operation ensure wide compatibility with common PC fan mounts and controllers.
Mount the fan on a compatible 120 mm fan bracket or heatsink following the orientation that directs airflow through the heatsink or radiator. Connect the fan to a 3- or 4-pin header on the motherboard or to a fan controller rated for 12 V, ensuring secure power and speed control. Verify clearance and airflow direction before finalising installation, and use appropriate screws or mounting clips to secure the fan.
