In a small office or branch location, IT staff often need a secure, tidy place to mount a switch, patch panel, and a compact server. Why choose it

The SMB6612 strikes a balance between compact footprint and practical capacity. Its 600x600 mm footprint fits through standard doorways and occupies minimal floor space, yet it offers enough depth for many small servers and network devices. The grey steel construction is durable and easy to clean, and the lockable doors and panels deter unauthorised access. Passive ventilation keeps noise low, with the option to add fans if cooling demands increase.

Ideal use cases

• Small office network closets housing switches, routers, and patch panels
• Telecom or communications rooms with limited floor area
• Edge computing sites or branch offices needing a secure enclosure for a small server
• Retail back offices or classrooms requiring tidy, lockable IT storage

Good to know

The cabinet ships with adjustable 19-inch mounting rails, levelling feet for uneven floors, and two keys for the locking doors. Cable entry openings on the top and bottom simplify routing. Assembly is straightforward, and the removable panels speed up equipment installation. For environments with higher heat loads, two optional fan units can be installed in the prepared positions.
