How to use

Attach the tubular belay device to your harness belay loop or a locking carabiner and thread the rope through the device according to standard tubular belay technique. Use one hand to hold the brake strand of the rope and the other to feed or take in slack while maintaining control. For lowering, keep the brake strand firmly in hand and move it slowly to control descent speed. Ensure the locking carabiner is properly closed and oriented, and verify rope seating before committing weight.

Recommendations

Inspect the device regularly for signs of wear, sharp edges, or excessive corrosion. Use a locking carabiner rated for climbing with compatible orientation, and follow rope manufacturer guidelines for diameter compatibility. Clean and dry the device after exposure to moisture and avoid using it with frozen or heavily contaminated ropes.
