Asta di tiraggio Extralink Pilot 6 mm 200 m fibra ottica FRP gialla

The Extralink Cable pulling rod Pilot 6mm 200m glass fibre FRP yellow is a 200-meter cable-pulling solution made from FRP fiberglass with a 6 mm diameter. Designed for running cables through conduits, ducts and confined spaces, the rod is covered with yellow PE plastic that improves visibility and provides good sliding characteristics. The product includes a powder-coated blue stand with a manual brake and a guiding eyelet for controlled unwinding and convenient transport and storage. The rod terminates with a guiding head to assist in threading cables.

Advantages

Constructed from FRP fiberglass, the rod combines high elasticity with resistance to bending and tearing, ensuring reliable performance during repeated use. The yellow PE coating protects the fibre and reduces friction for smoother insertion through conduits. The included metal rack with a manual brake and guiding eyelet simplifies handling, allows controlled unwinding and provides a stable platform for transportation and storage. The 6 mm diameter balances flexibility and strength for a wide range of cable-pulling tasks.

How to use

Mount the drum on the provided stand and release the manual brake to unwind the rod. Feed the guiding head into the conduit or duct and push the rod forward until the head reaches the target location. Attach the cable to the guiding head or pulling eye and pull the rod back to draw the cable through the conduit. Use the manual brake to control unwinding tension and prevent uncontrolled pay-out during handling. After use, wind the rod back onto the drum and secure the brake for transport and storage.

Recommendations

Inspect the rod and guiding head before each use for damage or wear. Avoid sharp bends beyond the rod's flexibility limits and do not expose the product to excessive heat or open flame. For smooth operation, keep the conduit clean and consider using a suitable lubricant when pulling long or tight cable runs. Store the rod on its stand in a dry place to prolong service life.
