MONTIS MT189-10 is a compact retractable extension reel with a 10 m cable and two grounded AC outlets, housed in a grey plastic enclosure. The unit measures 165 × 95 × 212 mm and weighs 1.2 kg, offering a portable solution for temporary power distribution in domestic environments and light workshop settings. A built-in cable rewinding mechanism keeps the cable neatly stored when not in use and helps prevent tangling during transport and storage.

The plastic housing is lightweight and impact-resistant for easy handling and mobility. Compact dimensions and modest weight make the reel suitable for carrying between rooms or work areas, while the rewind mechanism offers tidy cable management and reduced wear on the cord.

Key specifications

How to use

Place the extension reel on a stable surface and pull the cable out to the required length until it locks. Plug the reel's mains plug into a suitable wall socket, then plug appliances into the two AC outlets. After use, disconnect devices from the outlets and unplug the reel from the wall. Retract the cable using the integrated rewind mechanism, guiding the cable evenly to avoid kinks. Store the unit in a dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources.

Recommendations

Do not exceed the rated current of connected devices and avoid using high-power appliances simultaneously if their combined load may exceed the circuit capacity. Use the reel on flat, dry surfaces and avoid exposing the unit to heavy moisture or direct outdoor weather. For safe operation, fully unwind the cable when running high-current tools to prevent heat buildup. Inspect the cable and housing periodically for damage and discontinue use if any faults are found.
