Battery grip Meike per Sony A500 A550 — supporto per scatti in verticale, modello DV00BG0030

Battery grip Meike for Sony A500 A550 — vertical shooting support, model DV00BG0030 attaches to the base of compatible Sony DSLR bodies to provide extended power and improved ergonomics for vertical shooting. The grip integrates a portrait-orientation shutter release, additional control buttons and a larger handhold that matches the camera's mounting points and electrical contacts to deliver continuous power and repeated-operation reliability during long sessions.

Advantages

The Meike battery grip provides longer runtime by accepting one or more camera batteries or dedicated AA cells (depending on the grip's battery compartment), reducing the need to change batteries during events or long shoots. It replicates key camera controls for portrait orientation, including a shutter release and selector commands, and offers a thicker grip surface for more stable handling when shooting vertically. The build aligns with the camera base for secure attachment and consistent electrical connection.

Key specifications

• Compatibility: designed for Sony A500 and Sony A550 camera bodies
• Controls: portrait-orientation shutter release and additional control buttons/dials
• Power options: accommodates camera-type batteries or AA cells depending on configuration
• Mounting: attaches to camera base with secure mechanical and electrical connection
• Ergonomics: enlarged grip for improved vertical handling and balanced feel

How to use

Attach the battery grip to the camera base by aligning the mounting points and threading the grip's locking screw into the camera's tripod socket, then close the grip's battery compartment and insert the appropriate batteries according to the indicated polarity. Once attached, power on the camera; the grip's electrical connector transfers power and enables the portrait shutter release and replicated controls. Use the additional shutter release and control buttons when holding the camera vertically to maintain the same shooting workflow as in horizontal orientation. To remove, power off the camera, remove the batteries from the grip if necessary, unlock the screw and detach the unit carefully.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use fully charged batteries of the recommended type and check that the grip is firmly mounted before critical shoots. If using AA cells, choose high-quality alkaline or NiMH rechargeables to ensure stable voltage and consistent performance. Regularly inspect the grip's electrical contacts and mounting threads for debris or wear and tighten the locking screw to prevent loosening during extended handheld use.

Ieguvumi
