Bilancia postale elettronica WEDO 2000

The WEDO 2000 electronic postal scale provides accurate weight measurement up to 2000 g with 1 g graduation. Designed for office or postroom use, it features a fold-up platform that allows weighing large envelopes while keeping the display visible. The compact scale is battery-powered with the option of a 6 V mains adaptor and includes a tare function and automatic switch-off to conserve battery life.

Advantages

High resolution 1 g graduation and a 2 kg load capacity deliver precise readings for letters and small parcels. The fold-up platform keeps the display unobstructed when weighing bulky items. Large 15 mm digits improve legibility. Dual power options include 4 x AA batteries (supplied) or an optional 6 V mains adaptor. Built-in tare function and an automatic power-off after approximately 2 minutes in battery mode extend battery lifespan. CE certified for conformity with relevant standards.

How to use

Place the scale on a stable, level surface. If using batteries, insert 4 x 1.5 V AA cells; alternatively connect a 6 V mains adaptor (accessory 50 555). Fold the platform down for regular weighing or fold it up to accommodate larger envelopes while leaving the display visible. Switch on the scale, wait for the zero indication, place the item on the platform, and read the weight from the display. Use the TARE function to subtract the weight of containers or envelopes when required. The scale will automatically switch off after approximately 2 minutes of inactivity in battery mode.

Recommendations

For best accuracy, calibrate or check the scale periodically according to usage frequency, avoid placing the scale on soft or uneven surfaces, and replace batteries when the display becomes dim. Use the optional 6 V mains adaptor for continuous desk use to prevent frequent battery replacement.
