Cavo InfiniBand CBO CBL-QSFP-40GE-PASS-3M-F1-BL, QSFP a QSFP, passivo, 3 m, acqua

Passive InfiniBand cable CBO CBL-QSFP-40GE-PASS-3M-F1-BL is a 3‑meter QSFP-to‑QSFP assembly designed for short‑reach, high‑speed interconnects in data center and server rack environments. The cable supports direct QSFP-to‑QSFP connections for 40GbE and InfiniBand links where passive cabling is accepted by network equipment. The aqua jacket provides easy visual identification in multi-cable installations while the factory‑terminated QSFP connectors ensure consistent physical and electrical mating.

Advantages

This passive QSFP-to‑QSFP cable offers a low‑latency, low‑power option for short distance links without the need for additional transceivers. Its fixed 3 m length simplifies cable management in racks and reduces insertion loss compared with longer or active assemblies. The standardized QSFP plug interfaces maintain compatibility with equipment that supports passive direct-attach copper or passive passive copper assemblies for 40GbE/InfiniBand, and the colored jacket helps to quickly identify link types during installation and maintenance.

How to use

Install by inserting each QSFP connector into the corresponding QSFP port on the network devices until the connector latches. Ensure connected devices support passive QSFP direct‑attach cables at the intended 40GbE or InfiniBand speed. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and maintain the minimum bend radius specified by the equipment vendor. Verify link status through device indicators or management software after connection.

Recommendations

Use this passive QSFP-to‑QSFP cable for short, fixed connections within racks or between adjacent racks. Avoid using beyond recommended distances for passive assemblies, and keep the aqua jacket free from dirt or damage to ensure reliable identification and handling.
