Bosch 1 609 200 243 Sega a tazza 8 pz.

The Bosch 1 609 200 243 hole saw set contains eight precision-cutting cup saws designed for making round openings in materials such as hardwood, laminated panels, plastic, plywood and softwood. Each cup saw in the set is intended to deliver clean, consistent holes for a range of installation and woodworking tasks. The set is presented in a compact case with a uniform black finish suitable for workshop and on-site use.

Advantages

This hole saw set offers durable cutting edges engineered to resist wear during repeated use on wood-based materials and plastics. The saws are sized to cover common diameters needed for fittings and installations, and their geometry supports efficient chip removal for smoother cuts. The compact set reduces tool changeover time and simplifies storage, while compatibility with standard drill arbors makes integration with existing drills straightforward.

Suitable for

• Drilling round openings for door hardware, cable pass-throughs and pipe sleeves
• Creating holes in laminated panels and plywood for furniture assembly
• Cutting openings in softwood framing during light construction and renovation
• Making precise circular cuts in plastic sheets for vents and housings

Key specifications

• Number of pieces: 8 cup saws
• Material compatibility: hardwood, laminated panels, plastic, plywood, softwood
• Finish: black
• Design: bi-metal cup saw geometry for wood and plastic cutting
• Storage: compact case for organization and transport

How to use

Select the appropriate cup saw diameter for the required opening and secure it to a compatible drill arbor. Clamp the workpiece where possible to prevent movement. Set the drill to a moderate speed and apply steady pressure; allow the tool to do the cutting while maintaining alignment. Periodically withdraw the saw to clear chips and avoid overheating. After cutting, deburr the hole edges if a smooth finish is required.

Recommendations

For best results, use the hole saw set with variable-speed drills and appropriate arbors; avoid excessive speed when cutting hardwood or thick laminated materials. Wear eye and hand protection during operation, and ensure the workpiece is securely clamped. Replace worn saws to maintain cutting quality and reduce the risk of binding.
