Bosch 2 605 510 298 accessorio smerigliatrice angolare cuffia di protezione

The Bosch 23 cm diameter safety guard is an accessory designed for angle grinders to improve operator protection during cutting and grinding tasks. Manufactured for compatibility with a range of Bosch angle grinders, the guard covers the wheel periphery to deflect sparks, debris and small fragments away from the user while maintaining access to the working area. The design balances protection with visibility and tool maneuverability.

Advantages

The safety guard provides a robust metal shield that reduces the risk of contact with rotating discs and helps redirect sparks and debris. Its 23 cm diameter suits common disc sizes used for cutting and grinding, offering wide coverage without significantly restricting tool movement. The guard is engineered for straightforward mounting on compatible angle grinders and maintains a low profile to preserve operator control.

Key specifications

How to use

Before installation, ensure the angle grinder is powered off and disconnected from the power source. Fit the guard onto the grinder's guard mounting surface following the tool manufacturer's instructions, orienting it so the shield covers the disc area between the operator and the wheel. Tighten the retaining mechanism securely and check for correct alignment and clearance from the disc. During operation, keep the guard positioned between the cutting zone and the operator; periodically inspect for damage and replace the guard if it shows signs of deformation, cracks or excessive wear.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as eye protection, gloves and hearing protection when operating an angle grinder. Verify compatibility with your specific Bosch angle grinder model before mounting. Do not use the tool without a guard in applications that produce sparks or flying debris. Maintain the guard clean and free of accumulated material to ensure unobstructed protection.
