Bosch 2 608 601 716 Accessorio smerigliatrice angolare Platorello

The Bosch 2 608 601 716 backing pad is designed for use with Bosch X-LOCK angle grinders and is intended primarily for rough grit sanding (P50 and rougher). With a diameter of 125 mm, its angled surface offers an ergonomic grinding position for convenient work. The pad is made from fiberglass-reinforced thermostable plastic to resist high temperatures and reduce breakage, and it fits quickly and securely via the keyless X-LOCK system.

Advantages

Angled surface for improved ergonomics during sanding; high thermal and mechanical resistance thanks to fiberglass-reinforced thermostable plastic; fast, tool-free attachment and removal using the X-LOCK system; durable construction suitable for demanding rough sanding applications.

Suitable for

• Rough grit sanding (P50 and coarser)
• Sanding large surfaces with an X-LOCK angle grinder

How to use

Attach the backing pad to a compatible Bosch X-LOCK angle grinder by aligning and pressing until it locks in place with the keyless X-LOCK interface. Fit the appropriate coarse sanding disc (P50 or rougher) onto the pad, ensuring correct centring. Operate the grinder at the recommended speed for the abrasive and the workpiece, maintaining steady pressure and consistent movement across the surface. After use, remove the sanding disc and unlock the pad by pressing and turning according to the X-LOCK system instructions.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (eye protection, dust mask, gloves). For extended high-load sanding choose abrasives rated for rough work and monitor pad condition; replace the backing pad if damaged or deformed. Ensure the grinder is disconnected from power when changing accessories.
