The Bosch AdvancedCut 18 is a compact, battery-powered saw designed for light cutting tasks in home improvement and small professional jobs. Powered by a 2.5 Ah Lithium‑Ion battery, the tool delivers an idle speed of 7,000 RPM and uses a 6.5 cm cutting blade. Advantages

The saw combines cordless convenience with a high idle speed for efficient cutting of softer materials. Its 700 g weight and compact blade length make it easy to handle in confined spaces and reduce user fatigue during extended use. The 2.5 Ah Lithium‑Ion battery provides consistent power delivery without memory effect. A moderate sound pressure level of 75 dB helps maintain a more comfortable work environment when used indoors or on small outdoor projects.

Suitable for

• Small renovation and repair tasks around the house
• Cutting softwood, plastics and thin boards
• DIY furniture modifications and trimming
• Work in tight or overhead positions where low weight is beneficial

Key specifications

• Power source: 2.5 Ah Lithium‑Ion battery
• Idle speed: 7,000 RPM
• Blade length: 6.5 cm
• Weight: 700 g

How to use

Install a compatible 6.5 cm blade according to the manufacturer's instructions and secure the battery before operation. Hold the Bosch AdvancedCut 18 with a firm two-handed grip or one-handed support for light cuts, position the blade at the start of the cut, and apply steady, even pressure. Allow the motor to reach operating speed (7,000 RPM) before engaging the material, and avoid forcing the saw through hard or thick materials beyond its intended use. After cutting, switch the tool off and wait for the blade to stop completely before setting it down.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (safety glasses, hearing protection and gloves) and ensure the battery is charged and correctly seated. Choose blades matched to the material type for clean cuts and longer blade life. For prolonged cutting sessions, plan short breaks to let the tool and battery cool, and store the saw in a dry place when not in use.
