Bosch GCU 18V-30 Professional, livello di potenza sonora: 106 dB, peso: 915 g

The Bosch GCU 18V-30 Professional is a compact cordless cutter designed for flush cutting drywall and similar sheet materials. Powered by a brushless motor running at 30,000 rpm and compatible with ProCORE18V batteries, it delivers sustained cutting performance while remaining lightweight at approximately 915 g. The tool includes an efficient dust adapter, LED illumination for the cutting area, a motor brake for instant bit stop, and a belt clip for easy access on site. An IP5X dust-sealed switch increases durability by protecting internal components from fine drywall dust.

Advantages

The brushless motor and high no-load speed provide efficient cutting capacity, allowing the tool to cut over 100 metres of 12 mm drywall with a 1/8" (3.17 mm) bit on a ProCORE18V 4.0Ah battery. The compact, lightweight design reduces user fatigue during extended use. The integrated dust adaptor and IP5X sealed switch help maintain tool longevity and a cleaner work environment. Additional features include an LED for improved visibility, a motor brake for safety, and supplied collets to fit multiple bit sizes.

Suitable for

• Flush cutting drywall around windows, doors and access panels
• Cutting openings for electrical outlets and fittings
• Trimming plywood, OSB and ceiling tiles
• Jobs requiring cordless, portable cutting in confined spaces

How to use

Fit the appropriate collet and secure the chosen cutting bit. Attach a compatible ProCORE18V battery, position the cutter flush to the drywall or sheet material, and start the tool. Use the LED to improve visibility of the cutline and guide the cutter steadily along the marked outline. After finishing, release the switch and allow the motor brake to stop the bit before setting the tool down. Clean the dust adaptor after use to maintain airflow and performance.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (eye protection, dust mask and hearing protection) when cutting drywall and similar materials. For best battery runtime, use a ProCORE18V 4.0Ah or higher battery. Regularly inspect and clean the dust adaptor and switch area to prevent build-up of fine dust.
