Brennenstuhl PRCD-S cavo adattatore mobile con interruttore differenziale 16 A 230 V 1,5 m H07RN-F IP44 1160210

For mobile power distribution on construction sites, in agriculture, or during outdoor events, the Brennenstuhl PRCD-S adapter cable adds a critical layer of personal protection where fixed installations fall short. Unlike a standard extension lead, this inline residual current device (RCD) continuously monitors the circuit and disconnects within 30 milliseconds if a fault current of 30 mA or more is detected. The integrated undervoltage release and external conductor monitoring prevent dangerous restarts after a power interruption, while the protective conductor monitoring ensures the earth path is intact before any tool is energised. Housed in a robust splash-proof casing (IP44) and built around a 1.5 m H07RN-F rubber cable with a 1.5 mm² cross-section, it withstands the rough handling of daily site work and remains flexible even at -25 °C.

Highlights

• Portable PRCD-S safety adapter with 16 A / 230 V rating for mobile use
• Trips at 30 mA residual current in under 30 ms for reliable personal protection
• Undervoltage release prevents automatic restart after voltage loss
• External conductor and protective conductor monitoring for added safety
• IP44 splash-proof housing and robust plastic construction
• 1.5 m H07RN-F rubber cable with 1.5 mm² conductors, suitable for harsh environments
• Integrated test and reset buttons for regular function checks
• Complies with DIN VDE 0661 for portable residual current devices

In daily use

Plug the PRCD-S into any Schuko socket, connect your power tool or distribution board, and press the reset button. The device checks the protective conductor and external conductor before releasing power. In the event of a fault, the integrated RCD trips immediately, and the undervoltage release ensures the unit must be manually reset after the cause is eliminated. The test button allows you to verify the tripping function at any time. The 1.5 m cable gives you enough reach to position the adapter away from moisture or dirt, while the IP44 rating protects against splashing water from any direction. The housing is designed to survive knocks and drops on site, and the rubber cable remains flexible even in cold weather, making it easy to coil and store.
