Connect the printer to a compatible computer or POS terminal using the appropriate wired interface, then install drivers and label design software provided by the manufacturer or included with your system. Configure label dimensions and print settings (resolution and speed) within the driver or application to match the loaded media. Perform a test print to confirm alignment and print quality before full production runs.

Recommendations

Use heat- and light-stable direct thermal paper for longer-lasting labels; store media in a cool, dry place to avoid pre-print darkening. Select label widths and heights that match the specified maximums to prevent media jams. For high-volume tasks, keep spare rolls and perform periodic cleaning of the print head with recommended cleaning swabs to maintain print clarity.
