Bullone Cimco 190222, acciaio zincato, per legno, lunghezza 50 mm, filettatura Ø 8 mm

Cimco 190222 is a galvanized steel bolt designed for wood applications. With a length of 50 mm and a threaded diameter of 8 mm, this fastener provides a secure mechanical connection for timber components and wooden structures. The zinc galvanization offers corrosion resistance that extends service life in indoor environments and in outdoor locations that are sheltered from direct weather exposure.

Advantages

The galvanized steel construction combines strength and resistance to corrosion for reliable fastening in structural and non-structural woodwork. Its 8 mm thread diameter delivers a solid hold in hardwoods and softwoods while the 50 mm overall length suits medium-thickness joints. The uniform thread profile ensures consistent engagement and torque transfer during installation. Zinc coating reduces the risk of rusting where moisture or humidity may be present, helping maintain the integrity of connections over time.

How to use

Select a matching pilot hole size appropriate for an 8 mm threaded bolt to avoid splitting the wood and to ensure proper thread engagement. Position the bolt through pre-drilled parts or components and tighten with the appropriate wrench or driver until the connection is secure but not over-torqued. For applications in dense hardwoods, consider using a lubricated bolt or slightly larger pilot hole to facilitate insertion. When using in structural assemblies, follow local building rules for spacing, edge distances and load requirements.

Recommendations

Use in dry or sheltered environments for best corrosion performance; avoid prolonged exposure to direct weather or salt-laden atmospheres. Inspect fastened joints periodically for looseness or corrosion and replace bolts showing significant wear or coating damage.
