Self-adhesive mailing bag MAILmedia 39116/7 B4 130 g/m² brown is a kraft-style postal envelope designed for sending documents, catalogs and flat items in B4 format. Constructed from 130 g/m² material, the bag combines low weight with a tear-resistant structure and a water-resistant surface to protect contents during handling and transit. A peel-and-seal adhesive closure ensures quick and reliable sealing without additional tape.

Advantages

The 130 g/m² kraft-style material provides a balance of rigidity and flexibility, reducing the risk of bending while remaining lightweight for postage cost efficiency. The water-resistant surface helps protect printed materials from light moisture and splashes. Tear-resistant construction and reinforced seams improve durability in postal sorting machines and during manual handling. The peel-and-seal adhesive strip offers a quick, tamper-evident closure that eliminates the need for separate sealing supplies.

Suitable for

• Sending A4 documents folded to B4 or B4-sized catalogs and brochures
• Retailers dispatching flat goods such as thin books, prints, or brochures
• Businesses mailing invoices, contracts, or promotional materials
• Fulfilment centres and e-commerce sellers needing lightweight protective packaging

How to use

Insert the items to be mailed into the bag ensuring they lie flat and are aligned with the edges to minimize movement. Remove the protective liner from the adhesive strip, fold the flap down and press firmly along the seal to engage the adhesive. For added security, press along the seams and corners. Addressing and postage can be applied directly to the outer surface; use a permanent marker or adhesive labels where necessary. Do not overfill beyond the bag’s flat capacity to avoid sealing problems.

Recommendations

Store the mailing bags in a dry environment away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures to maintain adhesive performance and material integrity. For heavier or bulkier items, consider additional internal support such as thin cardboard inserts to prevent bending. Check local postal regulations for size and weight limits to ensure compliance with shipping services.
