Cambia-sesso per cavi ShiverPeaks BS13-30008

The ShiverPeaks BS13-30008 is a compact Cable Gender Changer designed to bridge connections between USB-C and USB-A devices. With a USB-C connector on one end and a USB-A connector on the other, this black adapter enables direct linking of newer USB-C peripherals to legacy USB-A ports. It supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 (formerly 3.1 Gen 1) data transfer rates, allowing fast file exchange while maintaining a small, durable form factor suitable for travel, desktop, or mobile use.

Advantages

The adapter provides straightforward compatibility between different USB connector types without requiring additional cables. Its support for USB 3.2 Gen 1 ensures high-speed data throughput when used with compatible hosts and devices. The compact, lightweight construction and neutral black finish make it unobtrusive in mixed-device environments and easy to carry in a bag or pocket. Designed for simple plug-and-play operation, it requires no drivers or configuration.

Suitable for

• Connecting USB-C devices (phones, tablets, drives) to computers or chargers with USB-A ports
• Using USB-C peripherals with older docking stations and hubs
• Temporary or travel setups where carrying full cables is impractical

Key specifications

• Connector 1: USB C
• Connector 2: USB A
• USB version: USB 3.2 Gen 1 (3.1 Gen 1)
• Product colour: Black
• Form factor: Compact inline gender changer

How to use

Insert the USB-C end into the USB-C plug of the device you want to connect, then insert the USB-A end into the USB-A port of the host, such as a computer, power adapter, or hub. Ensure both devices support the required USB version to achieve optimal data transfer speeds. The adapter functions as a passive connector; no software or driver installation is required. Remove the adapter by gently unplugging from both ends when finished.

Recommendations

For best performance, use the adapter with USB 3.2 Gen 1 compliant cables and ports. Avoid forcing connectors and store the adapter in a protective pouch to prevent physical damage. Note that power delivery and video functions depend on the connected devices and ports and may be limited by the adapter's passive nature.
