Canalina passacavi Rittal VX 8618.800, case in alluminio, grigio, larghezza 600 mm, confezione da 2

Rittal VX 8618.800 cable duct is a purpose-built aluminium channel for routing and protecting electrical and data cables inside control cabinets, switchgear and industrial enclosures. The grey finish and 600 mm width provide a broad, low-profile pathway that integrates with modular enclosure systems and helps maintain tidy cable runs. Supplied as a pack of two, the ducts are intended for applications where durable, corrosion-resistant cable management is required.

Advantages

The aluminium construction offers a high strength-to-weight ratio and corrosion resistance suitable for industrial environments. A 600 mm width accommodates larger cable bundles or multiple parallel runs while preserving internal space and airflow in the enclosure. The grey surface provides a neutral appearance that matches common cabinet interiors and is easy to clean. Supplied in a twin pack, the product supports consistent routing on both sides or redundant installations.

How to use

Mount the cable duct inside the enclosure along the intended cable route using compatible fasteners or mounting rails. Position the duct to allow access for cable entry and exit while maintaining required clearances from other components. Place cable bundles into the duct and secure them with cable ties or retaining elements as needed to prevent movement. Ensure that any cut edges are deburred and that cable bending radii meet the requirements of the cable manufacturers to avoid damage.

Recommendations

For best results, plan cable runs before installation to minimize crossings and to keep power and signal cables separated where electromagnetic interference could be an issue. Use appropriate grommets or edge protection where cables pass through the duct edges and verify that the duct mounting maintains ventilation paths inside the enclosure.
