Canalina passacavi Rittal VX 8618.801, case in alluminio, grigio, larghezza 800 mm, confezione da 2

The Rittal VX 8618.801 aluminium cable duct is a rigid, corrosion‑resistant channel for organising and protecting wiring inside enclosures and electrical cabinets. Supplied as a pack of two grey ducts with a nominal width of 800 mm, it is engineered for fixed cable routing in industrial control panels, machine housings and server racks. The aluminium construction provides mechanical strength while minimising weight and offers a durable surface suitable for long-term use in indoor industrial environments.

Advantages

The aluminium housing ensures resistance to corrosion and provides a stable mounting surface for cable ties, clips or mounting accessories. Its 800 mm width accommodates multiple cable bundles and simplifies separation of power and signal lines. Supplied in a pack of two, the ducts allow consistent cable management across multiple compartments or chassis sections. The grey finish integrates with common control cabinet interiors and reduces visual contrast for a tidy appearance.

How to use

Mount the cable duct inside the enclosure on a suitable mounting surface, ensuring alignment with existing mounting rails or drilled fixing points. Place cable bundles inside the duct and secure them with cable ties or appropriate clips; maintain separation of power and signal cables as required by your installation standards. Close or secure any duct covers or end pieces if used to prevent dust ingress and provide strain relief at cable entry and exit points.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term performance, follow enclosure grounding and bonding practices for aluminium components, avoid overloading the duct with cables that exceed bending or fill recommendations, and plan cable routes to allow future additions. Use compatible fastening hardware and corrosion‑resistant tie wraps where needed.
