How to use

Before connecting, ensure the charger is appropriate for the battery type and capacity. Switch off vehicle electrics and connect the charger’s clamps or eyelets to the battery terminals—positive to positive, negative to negative—then plug the charger into a mains outlet. The charger will perform an automatic charging cycle and switch to maintenance mode when charging is complete. Disconnect the mains supply before removing the connectors. For stored batteries, leave the charger connected in maintenance mode to sustain optimal charge levels.

Recommendations

Use the charger in a well‑ventilated area and follow vehicle manufacturer guidance on charging rates and battery removal. For long periods of inactivity, keep the charger connected in maintenance mode to prevent sulfation and capacity loss. Avoid exposing the unit to prolonged immersion or severe weather despite its weather‑resistant design.
