GaN – Fast. Compact. Efficient. Powerful. Gallium nitride, or ‘GaN’ for short, is increasingly being used for semiconductors in chargers. The positive characteristic of GaN is that it generates little heat. Less heat means that components can be installed closer together without compromising performance capacity and safety standards. For this reason, GaN chargers can be made smaller than chargers with silicon, for example. When it comes to heat generation and electrical conductivity, silicon is limited in terms of component construction and is restricted to a minimum size. This is not the case with GaN! GaN is a crystal-like material that can conduct much higher voltages. This means that components made of GaN allow electrical current to flow faster, speeding up the charging process! GaN is efficient, fast and generates little heat! Thanks to their compact size, GaN chargers are the perfect companions for on the go. With our LC-GAN-100, both USB-C and USB-A devices can be charged quickly and efficiently! Thanks to innovative GaN technology, our LC-GAN-100 supplies every compatible USB device with up to 100 watts. The integrated protection functions provide your USB devices with optimum protection against damage. The future of charging is GaN! Power Delivery 3.0 2x USB-C: USB-C (1) / USB-C (2): max. 100 W 1x USB-A: max. 30 W Combined: USB-C (1) + USB-C (2) = 65 W + 30 W USB-C (1) + USB-A = 65 W + 30 W USB-C (2) + USB-A = 65 W + 30 W USB-C (1) + USB-C (2) + USB-A = 45 W + 30 W + 18 W High efficiency of up to 89.5% Stable power output, low residual ripple Safety circuits: Overcurrent protection (OCP) Overload protection (OLP) & Overvoltage protection (OVP) &Overheating protection (OTP) Short circuit protection (SCP) Compatible with any device with a USB-C and USB-A port

How to use

Connect the charger to an appropriate AC outlet (110–240 V). Plug a USB-C cable into one of the Type-C ports and then into the device you wish to charge. The charger negotiates power delivery with compatible devices automatically; ensure your device supports USB-C PD or the required fast-charge protocol for optimal charging speed. Unplug the charger from the outlet when not in use.

Recommendations

For best results, use certified USB-C cables and ensure devices support the necessary power profiles. Avoid exposing the charger to extreme temperatures or moisture and keep vents unobstructed to prevent overheating.
