Carotatrice diamantata AWTools 1 1/4 pollice (32 mm) – lunghezza 82/430 mm

Diamond core bit AWTools 1 1/4 inch (32 mm) — length 82/430 mm is a segmented diamond core bit designed to cut precise circular cores in hard building materials. Intended for use with core drilling rigs and compatible rotary drills via appropriate adapters, this bit delivers clean core extraction in concrete, stone and masonry. The product is offered in two effective cutting lengths (82 mm and 430 mm) to match shallow and deep drilling tasks while maintaining the 32 mm (1 1/4") diameter.

Advantages

The AWTools diamond-cutting edge provides consistent cutting performance and improved wear resistance compared with standard carbide bits. Two available cutting lengths allow selection according to hole depth without changing diameter. The bit is suitable for wet and dry drilling where applicable equipment and cooling are used, reducing dust and facilitating core removal. Its design supports straight, accurate holes and minimizes breakout at the exit side when used with correct technique.

How to use

Select the core bit length that matches the required hole depth and install the bit in a compatible core drilling rig or rotary drill with the correct adapter and secure mounting. For best performance, ensure proper alignment and firm mounting of the drill, start at low speed to establish the cutting track, then increase to recommended operating speed for the drilling equipment. Use controlled pressure, avoid forcing the bit, and withdraw periodically to remove debris. When drilling reinforced concrete, proceed steadily and allow the diamond segments to wear in rather than applying excessive force.

Recommendations

For longer life and optimal cutting, use water cooling where the equipment and site conditions permit; this reduces dust and helps maintain segment performance. Match the bit length to the hole depth to avoid unnecessary strain on the tool. Inspect the diamond segments before use and replace the bit if segments are significantly worn or damaged. Always follow the drill manufacturer's safety instructions, wear appropriate PPE, and secure the workpiece or drilling rig to prevent movement during drilling.
