Cartuccia di pulizia Fujifilm LTO UCC 1,27 cm 319 m

Fujifilm LTO Universal Cleaning Cartridges include an embedded memory chip that communicates with compatible LTO Ultrium drives. The cleaning tape measures 1.27 cm in width and 319 m in length, and is intended for scheduled cleaning of tape drive heads to help maintain reliable operation. The cartridge is recognized by drive firmware and tracks usage; after the drive-determined service life (typically 15–50 uses depending on the drive model) the cartridge will be rejected to prevent further use.

Advantages

The Fujifilm LTO UCC cleaning tape is compatible with LTO Ultrium drives and provides a standardized method for head cleaning. The built-in chip stores usage data so drives can enforce cartridge retirement, reducing risk of overuse. The 1.27 cm width and 319 m length match common LTO cleaning specifications for effective contact and coverage during each cleaning cycle.

Suitable for

• Routine maintenance of LTO Ultrium tape drives
• Data centres and IT departments managing tape libraries
• Preventive cleaning during drive service intervals

How to use

Insert the cleaning cartridge into a compatible LTO Ultrium drive following the drive manufacturer's insertion procedure. Run the drive's built-in cleaning cycle or maintenance command; the drive firmware will read the cartridge chip and track the number of cleanings. Allow the drive to complete its cleaning routine and then remove the cartridge when prompted. If the drive rejects the cleaning cartridge after its service life, replace it with a new cleaning tape.

Recommendations

Follow the drive manufacturer's recommended cleaning intervals and procedures. Keep cleaning cartridges stored in a dry, dust-free environment and replace the cartridge once the drive indicates end-of-life to avoid attempted reuse.
