Case Mini Tower Akasa Cypher SPX

The Akasa Cypher SPX Mini Tower is a compact PC case engineered for small form factor builds that need efficient cooling and a space-saving footprint. Finished in matte black, the case supports mini-ITX motherboards and 2.5" storage devices, and comes with a 40 mm front fan to promote directed airflow through the chassis. Its compact exterior dimensions make it suitable for desks, media centers, or constrained workspaces while maintaining a functional layout for core components.

Advantages

The Cypher SPX combines a minimal footprint with purposeful thermal design, integrating a front 40 mm fan to enhance intake airflow in tight enclosures. The case's layout is optimized for 2.5" drives and compact cooling solutions, reducing build complexity and cable clutter. Its neutral black finish and compact proportions provide visual compatibility with a wide range of setups without occupying excessive space.

Suitable for

• Mini-ITX home or office PCs
• Compact media center or HTPC builds
• Small form factor gaming systems with low-profile cooling
• Space-constrained workstations and kiosk installations

Key specifications

• Form factor: mini tower for mini-ITX motherboards
• Supported storage: 2.5" drives
• Included cooling: 40 mm front fan
• Exterior dimensions: 208 mm (W) × 203 mm (D) × 45 mm (H)
• Colour: matte black

How to use

Install a mini-ITX motherboard and fit a 2.5" SSD or HDD into the designated mounting area following standard PC assembly procedures. Connect the integrated 40 mm front fan to the motherboard or fan controller for power and set fan profiles as needed in BIOS or operating system utilities. Route cables carefully to maintain airflow through the front intake and out the ventilation areas. Use low-profile CPU coolers and compact power solutions appropriate for mini-ITX layouts to ensure component compatibility.

Recommendations

For optimal thermal performance, use a low-profile CPU cooler and position components to avoid blocking the front fan intake. Regularly check and clean dust from vents and the included fan to maintain consistent airflow in constrained enclosures.
