The DIGITUS Wall Mounting Cabinet 12U (600x600 mm) is a compact rack enclosure intended for wall installation to optimize space in small server rooms, network closets, or office environments. Finished in black, the cabinet accommodates up to 12 rack units of standard 19" equipment within a 600x600 mm footprint. This unit is sold with visible cosmetic damage to packaging and scratches on edges and one side but is described as fully functional for mounting and housing networking hardware.

Advantages

The cabinet provides a space-saving solution for organizing switches, patch panels, routers and other 19" components while keeping equipment accessible on a wall. Its 12U capacity balances compact dimensions with useful mounting depth for common networking devices. The black finish supports a discreet, professional appearance. Despite the noted cosmetic imperfections, the structural integrity and mounting functionality are preserved, allowing reliable installation of network gear.

How to use

Mount the cabinet securely to a suitable load-bearing wall using appropriate anchors and fixings rated for the combined weight of the cabinet and installed equipment. Install 19" rails and adjust their position to fit your devices, then mount switches, patch panels and other 19" components using standard rack screws. Route and secure cabling to maintain airflow and serviceability. Verify door and hinge alignment after installation and ensure access for maintenance and ventilation.

Recommendations

Before installation, inspect the cabinet for the described cosmetic damage and confirm that mounting points, rails and doors operate correctly. Use cable management accessories and ventilation or fan modules suited to the cabinet depth if devices produce significant heat. For safety, follow local electrical and construction codes and consider professional installation if unsure about wall anchoring or load capacity.
