Case per SSD DeLOCK 42027 grigio M.2 10 Gbit/s USB Type-C

This aluminum enclosure by DeLOCK supports installation of two M.2 PCIe NVMe SSDs in sizes 2280, 2260 and 2242 and connects to a PC or laptop via USB Type-C at up to 10 Gbit/s. The model 42027 in grey is designed for high-speed external storage and transfer.

Advantages

The enclosure includes a hardware clone function that copies data from one M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD to the other without requiring a PC. M.2 SSDs can be installed without tools using a secure locking mechanism that prevents accidental opening during transport. An integrated fan in the bottom area provides active cooling to maintain stable operation under load.

Suitable for

• Backing up or duplicating NVMe drives using the standalone clone function
• Portable high-speed external storage for laptops and desktops
• Data transfer and migration between two M.2 PCIe NVMe SSDs
• Use cases requiring active cooling for sustained SSD performance

How to use

Open the enclosure using the built-in locking mechanism, insert the M.2 PCIe NVMe SSDs into the appropriate slots (2280, 2260 or 2242), and secure them with the tool-free system. Connect the enclosure to a computer with the supplied USB Type-C cable to access the drives at up to 10 Gbit/s. To clone one drive to the other without a PC, follow the manufacturer's clone procedure using the enclosure controls as described in the included manual.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term operation, place the enclosure on a flat surface with adequate ventilation so the bottom fan can dissipate heat. Use the clone function on fully charged or externally powered systems when copying large amounts of data, and ensure both SSDs are compatible PCIe NVMe M.2 modules in supported sizes.
