Case per SSD/HDD SATA 2,5 pollici QOLTEC 52278 USB 3.0, supporta fino a 2 TB

QOLTEC 52278 external enclosure converts a 2.5" SATA SSD or HDD into a USB 3.0 external drive, supporting drives up to 2 TB. The compact case provides a simple way to access, transport and back up data from laptops or desktops. With USB 3.0 connectivity it offers high-speed transfers compatible with USB 2.0 ports, and its plug-and-play design requires no additional drivers on major operating systems.

Advantages

The enclosure offers tool-free installation, allowing quick insertion and removal of a 2.5" SATA drive without soldering or internal modifications. USB 3.0 interface ensures faster data transfer compared to legacy USB 2.0 connections while maintaining backward compatibility. Its compact, lightweight housing supports portable use and easy storage. The product is compatible with standard 2.5" SATA drives and supports capacities up to 2 TB, enabling use with modern SSDs and HDDs for backups, media libraries or additional storage.

Suitable for

• Backing up laptop or desktop data quickly and securely
• Cloning or migrating an operating system between drives
• Expanding storage using spare 2.5" SATA SSD or HDD
• Portable access to files, media and project folders

How to use

Open the enclosure according to the housing design, insert a 2.5" SATA drive ensuring the SATA connector aligns with the enclosure socket, then close the case securely. Connect the enclosure to a computer using the included USB 3.0 cable; the drive should be recognized automatically by the operating system. If necessary, initialize or format the drive using the system disk management tools before first use. To disconnect, use the operating system's safe-eject procedure and then unplug the USB cable.

Recommendations

Use the enclosure with 2.5" drives only and avoid subjecting it to strong shocks or liquids. For large file transfers or backups, connect to a USB 3.0 port on the host computer to achieve optimal transfer speeds. Regularly back up important data and handle the drive insertions and removals following the safe-eject procedure to reduce risk of data corruption.
